Virat Kohli was born on November 5, 1988, in Delhi, India. He showed an early aptitude for cricket, and his father, Prem Kohli, encouraged him to pursue the sport. Virat started playing cricket at the age of three, and he quickly developed into a talented batsman.

In 1998, when Virat was 10 years old, he joined the West Delhi Cricket Academy. He was coached by Rajkumar Sharma, who recognized Virat's potential and helped him to develop his skills.


Chapter 2: The Under-19 Years

Virat's talent for cricket soon began to earn him recognition. In 2006, he was selected for the India Under-19 team. He made his debut for the team in a match against England, and he scored 105 runs.

Virat went on to captain the India Under-19 team in the 2008 World Cup. He led the team to victory, and he was named the player of the tournament.
